Wider becomes wider

Wider, the company that brought to superyachting the tender that unfolds when at anchor to become a wider floating platform from which guests can dive swim and sunbath, is to have a big sister.

At a gathering at the Monaco Yacht Show, journalists were shown the early foundations of a 46 metre version that has the same ability to unfold sections of the yacht so as to make them more user friendly when at anchor

It is the brainwave of Tilli Antonelli, whose philosophy is based on his fundamental values of passion, creativity, and constant quest for new concepts.

The new yacht is an evolution of the concept, combining top performance innovative design, versatility of guest areas and speed, with extraordinarily low consumption for a yacht of this size.

The stern section unfolds in much the same way as the children’s comic characters do in The Transformers.

The space that did house the tender becomes flooded to become an onboard swimming pool and it in turn is surrounded by platforms that offer a beach like effect with the ocean on one side and pool on the other.

Tilli Antonelli, President of Wider, said “this is an event which has been made even more special by our partnership with an exceptional company, Camper & Nicholsons International, who will work as the central agency for the marketing and selling of the product throughout the world.”

“We’re very pleased to have established this partnership with Wider,” said Eric de Saintdo, President and CEO of Camper & Nicholsons International, “and to have the opportunity to represent a yacht throughout the world which has so many of the innovative requirements many large yacht owners will most certainly appreciate.
