During the Monaco Yacht Show the American superyacht builder Burger Boats has become the first official member of Wood Forever developed by The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
Wood Forever aims to accompany the yacht builders towards the use of timber from sustainably managed forests.
Burger signed a partnership agreement and committed to analyse their wood supply chain in order to be able to develop a sustainable wood purchasing policy and, doing so, fight deforestation.
HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco oversaw Burger’s membership during his visit to the Monaco Yacht Show.
His Foundation hopes that the other yacht builders will follow this good example in order to drive the yachting industry towards environmental excellence.
