Management Company Offers Assistance to Yachts Visiting St. Helena

Superyacht owners and Captains are beginning to venture further afield in search of new destinations and places to visit, especially with a well-documented increase in piracy along certain, more well established superyacht routes. 


Andrew Weir Yacht Management is now able to provide bunkers, advise and local contacts for yachts wishing to visit the far flung islands of St. Helena and Ascension in the Atlantic. 


As a part of the package of services offered through the company’s involvement with RMS St. Helena, the islands only regular passenger cargo liner they recently arranged for the call of the explorer cruise ship National Geographic Explorer to St. Helena Island in the South Atlantic.


Working in partnership with local agents Solomon & Co, MDO fuel was supplied to the vessel by barge while she was anchored off Jamestown the islands capital.


In addition, AWYM is an ATOL registered agent, and as such able to book seats on RAF flights from RAF Brize Norton to Wideawake Airfield on Ascension.
