Tofi is the name of an odd looking concept yacht designed by South Korean Kim Hyun-Seok. He designed the 12 metre, coral-themed, concept, drawing inspiration from the beauty of the sea and its marine life.
The trimaran hulled yacht would, if built, feature a large deck aft with easy access to the sea. The upper deck is left clear for sunbathing and comes complete with a diving board so that owners and guests can plunge into the ocean from the top deck
The design of the round, modular interior aims at creating a natural underwater experience on the surface and is divided by coral-themed partitions. Bulkheads are replaced with huge windows that provide panoramic views and plenty of natural sunlight.
The yacht can accommodate up to four guests in two double cabins and is designed to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots.
But the scary thing is that Kim, who has a Master’s in mechanical engineering and a degree in yacht design, is apparently already at work on his next project, a 125 metre superyacht complete with helipad and indoor pool.
