A new 16 page brochure describing their entry into refitting services, featuring examples of projects recently undertaken has been published by Royal Huisman
Like many yards seeking to fill empty slipways Royal Huisman is being forced to broaden its business model with expansion into superyacht refit and repair business.
While the yard has undertaken refit work for many years, it has now completed an in-depth study pointing to even more efficient deployment of its human and physical resources over a wider range and a greater number of projects.
Managing Director Alice Huisman, said “It is well known that our firm houses a large concentration of expertise, infrastructure and specialist skills, and for customers seeking not just a standard refit but the optimum level of quality, enhancement and added value, the yard has a great deal to offer.
We were determined that this service would only be expanded when we were absolutely certain that our quality could be assured in both custom builds and refit projects. With the full weight of our Intelligent Engineering process behind us, we are now confident that objective has been achieved.”
Work can be undertaken either at the Vollenhove yard or at deep water locations elsewhere in Holland to suit the owner’s or captain’s preference and requirements of the project
