On Friday 1st April the Hainan Rendez Vous opens at the Visun Royal Yacht club Marina in Sanya, Hainan, Hong Kong. An annual event that had it premier show last year, it is Asia first exhibition dedicated to business jets, large yachts and luxury lifestyle.
Amongst the yachts at the show this year will be 65 metre Ambrosia built by Benetti in 2006. Exclusively presented by YPI, she will be the largest yacht at the event. With naval architecture by Espen Oino and interior layout by François Zuretti, she can accommodate 12 guests looked after by a crew of 20. Her diesel-electric Azipod propulsion system ensures she is fuel-efficient, eco-friendly and quiet.
“YPI has been working with an Asian clientele for almost all of its 40 years in existence,” explains YPI Group CEO, Bertrand Vogèle. “However in the last few years we have noticed a significant increase in the number of requests from clients in the region asking about yachts to buy and charter.”
Olivier Besson, YPI’s representative in China said “We are very pleased to be showing Ambrosia during Hainan. She is a magnificent yacht and exactly what so many of our Asian clientele are looking for right now.”
