G20 Force Cannes Superyacht Show to Alter Exhibition Dates

Because of security arrangements surrounding the holding of the G20 Summit in Cannes this October, the dates of the Cannes Boat show have been altered.
Initially scheduled to run from 7th to 12th September, the 34th Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes now moves one day ahead of its schedule to run from Tuesday 6th until the following Sunday.
Security plans for the summit, involves the requisitioning of the city’s entire sea front, from the Vieux Port to Port Pierre Canto, starting the beginning of October.
The superyacht show traditionally extends along the quays of the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto, and inside the Espace Riviera exhibition hall.
G20 is having an impact on other events including both MIPCOM and Tax Free
