Sycara V was delivered by Nobiskrug in September 2010 and is 223.7′ (68.16m) in length with a beam of 41′ (12.52m).
This magnificent superyacht has 7 staterooms and can sleep 12 – 14 guests with a crew of 16.
Her full displacement hull is built from steel, which has ample space allowing for a comfortable yachting experience. Her interior was designed by Craig Beale/Pure Detail with a very light classic interior featuring beautiful woods, natural stone and fabrics. The main deck, offers an open space of more than 25 meters from the dining room to the library. The entrance of the yacht leads into a wide lobby with an elevator, which connects all the decks from the Lower Deck to the Sun Deck.
The Bridge Deck could be considered the owner’s deck with a large owner’s suite that faces aft and has adjacent bathrooms for him and her. There is also a private aft deck.
On the Sun Deck there is an 8 person Jacuzzi – custom made by Nobiskrug. There is also a gym, a massage room and an outdoor bar.
The five guest staterooms are on the Lower Deck and situated around the main staircase. The addition of pullman beds is a nice feature on this charter yacht that accommodates families with children and allows the children to sleep close to their parents.
The yacht is well equipped with two Tenders up to 10 meters in length and several water toys. The wide open beach club in the stern provides for a 30 square meters bathing platform, which is connected to all the decks by an elevator.
Sycara V is powered by 2 Caterpillar 3516 producing 2,130 hp each and allowing her to travel at a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.
SYCARA V is available for 2010/11 Winter charter in the Caribbean and will be based in St. Maarten. Then in 2011 she will charter in the Western Mediterranean from her base in Antibes. Her rate is 585,000 EURO per/wk.
