Heesen Join Together Hull and Superstructure of 2nd 50 Metre Superyacht

From Oss in Holland comes news that Heesen Yachts have joined together the hull and superstructure their new 50 metre semi-displacement motor yacht

Known at this stage only as hull number 15850, she is the second in the new 5000 class and is one of the few vessels of this length whose Gross Tonnage is below the magical 500gt benchmark.

She carries the typical hard-chine hull shape, conceived by the yard’s in-house naval architects, along with the equally recognisable pelican-beak bow and negative sheer. Her exterior design is the result of the collaboration between the builders in-house Design and Development team and Frank Laupman of Omega Architects

Twin MTU 16V 4000 M90 diesels, will give her a maximum speed of 23 Knots. 



Delivery is scheduled for 2011.
