Italian Super Yacht Builder Ceases Trading

Superyacht Yard CNP Leaves Workers Unpaid

Cantiere navale di Pesaro the shipyard that produced commercial ships and recently strayed in to super yacht building has ceased trading leaving workers demanding back wages.

The shipyard owned by the Careri family since 2005 built the Naumachos 105 as part of a co operation with American brokers Bartram and Brakenhoff. The chunky looking yacht whose interior was designed by Aldo Cichero was unusual in that she had two master cabins. She also boasted a fuel capacity of over 70,000 litres to give her a world exploring range of 9,000 miles at 9 knots.

In March of this year the company had announced that the hull of the first Naumachos 82′ with Hybrid propulsion had been finished, with delivery expected in summer 2010.
