The equity behind the Moonen Yachts Holding BV has since 1981 been controlled by the Snowie family from Scotland. Now their 80% shareholding has been sold to Merit AS, a company in Turkey founded in 1989, which specialises in transportation and logistics.
The remaining 20 percent is owned by Emile Bilterijst, who continues to lead the company
Moonen Yachts Holding BV consists of three companies: Moonen Shipyards, Moonen Brokerage, and Inoferro.The shipyard builds and refits yachts up to about 50 meters.Moonen Brokerage acts as agent for owners of Moonen yachts while.
