Marina Port Vell in Barcelona is bustling with the early season Superyachts and Brisk Sales of Long-Term Berths
Over the winter season contractors working for the marina have completed Spanish Quay. Among the early arrivals at the newly-open 430m dock was one Amels and one Feadship built superyacht, this followed just days later by two yachts built by Lurssen (see picture) but the marina is reluctant to name any of the yachts for security reasons.
With sales of long-term berth sales fully underway setting out to become one of the world’s elite superyacht destinations and pre-eminent home port in the Mediterranean the marina is enjoying brisk yachting activity as its much anticipated Gallery—the hub for visiting yachts and crews—and Sèsam Restaurant open for spring and summer superyacht visits.
“Whether for home port or a visit to the vibrant Catalan city of Barcelona, Marina Port Vell has berths to 120m for sale and lease and countless yachting activities, day sails, owner, captain and crew amenities,” says Marcel Brekelmans, MPV’s Managing Director. “It’s important to note that our long-term berth sales are fully underway as ultimately there is limited availability of permanent port space.
